Margaret M. Farrell, MPH, RD is a Public Health Advisor for the Implementation Science Team in the Office of the Director in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Margaret provides programmatic leadership of NCI's Research to Reality (https://researchtoreality.cancer.gov) online community of practice for cancer control researchers and practitioners. Prior to joining the Implementation Science Team, she worked with Cancer Information Service Partnership Program to disseminate key NCI research findings and programs to underserved communities through key regional, state and community partnerships.  She led NCI’s efforts to integrate socioeconomic/geodemographic marketing approaches into outreach, planning and evaluation activities.  Margaret was the lead editor of Theory at a Glance (Second Edition), a monograph which outlines key behavior change and health promotion theories and presents case studies illustrating how these theories can be integrated into public health programs.
